*shows up at ur door 10 years after we had an argument* aND ANOTHER THING
do you ever just want to hold someone in your arms for about 37 years
Valeria Schettino, Acqua/ Water
people say that long distance relationships are hard. but what they don’t tell you is how alone you feel, even when surrounded by your closest friends. they don’t tell you that it feels like a break-up. going from seeing the person you love every single day to maybe a text here or there. from running tedious errands together to doing things that seem like a complete and total waste of time. everything changes. going from feeling annoyed somedays by their presence or opinions to craving that annoyance. craving that close proximity. craving that ability to wrap your arms around them. the smallest things feel enormous and the only way to cope is knowing their return date. they’ll tell you that you’ll cry. but they won’t tell you that it’s a tsunami every single day triggered by something irrelevant. people say its hard. but you will never fully understand my grieving until you, yourself are in my shoes.
